The Poultry in Motion™ Educational Mini Barn program is committed to providing detailed knowledge of how our British Columbia farmers raise their chickens for market. Poultry in Motion™ is proud to offer an extensive lineup of educational resources for schools to help students at all levels develop, understand, and appreciate all the BC chicken products they enjoy!
Poultry in Motion™ is proud to supply a variety of fun-filled, entertaining learning resources for primary school students. From the “Safari Man Dan’s Canadian Chicken Adventure” and the “Chicken Chat” 10- and 20-minute videos to the “Chicks are Coming Story and Colouring Book”, crossword puzzle, chicken trivia, and the chicken cruncher activity.
Poultry in Motion™ includes the “Sous Chef” recipes and activities book, which is a great starting point to develop healthy eating habits. The other educating and appealing resources that relate to the chicken lifecycle include a crossword puzzle, chicken trivia, and the “Chicken Chat” 10- and 20-minute videos.
Educators and students will be interested in the Poultry in Motion™ culinary, science, and technology resources. Poultry in Motion™ has a complete home economics unit for grades 8 to 12. Learn more from our “BC Agriculture in the Classroom Spotlights” videos featuring a BC hatching egg and broiler farmer. The comprehensive videos and lessons for students will help them understand where BC chicken comes from and how to prepare it in a variety of ways. Check out our chicken trivia, crossword, and word search fun activities!
